Role Overview
We are seeking an exceptional Cancer Genomics Scientist to join our team. In this role, you will be instrumental in generating biological insights from genomically distinct cancer subtypes identified using our proprietary multi-omics analysis pipeline, identifying potential disrupted pathways and potential therapeutic targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Interpret complex genomic alterations, pathway dysregulation, and molecular signatures in cancer contexts and associate with potential targeted therapies.
- Collaborate with ML engineers to translate genomic alterations into biological insights
- Investigate mechanisms of drug resistance and treatment response using our multi-omics machine learning algorithms.
- Stay current with the latest developments in cancer genomics, precision oncology, and computational biology.
- Collaborate with clinical partners to validate findings in patient cohorts
- Communicate complex genomic concepts to diverse stakeholders including investors and partners.
- Participate in intellectual property creation and patent applications.
- Support regulatory and clinical validation efforts for product candidates.
Required Qualifications
- Ph.D. in Cancer Biology, Genomics, Computational Biology, or related field.
- 3+ years of postdoctoral or industry experience in cancer genomics research.
- Deep understanding of cancer biology, tumor heterogeneity, and oncogenic mechanisms.
- Knowledge and experience with mechanisms of action for targeted therapies in oncology
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative startup environment.
