Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Postdoctoral Research Associate to join our dynamic research team. Duties
- Conduct advanced experiments involving tissue culture, mammalian cell culture, and transfection techniques to investigate cellular processes.
- Isolate DNA using various methods and perform PCR, Western blotting, ELISA, and flow cytometry assays to analyze biomolecular interactions.
- Implement bioinformatics analyses using R, Python, and next-generation sequencing data to interpret genetic and genomic information.
- Design and optimize molecular biology protocols for gene editing, gene expression analysis, and functional assays.
- Maintain meticulous laboratory records, prepare detailed reports of experimental results, and contribute to scientific publications.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on projects involving genetics, biochemistry, and quantum engineering applications.
- Ensure compliance with CGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practice) standards during experimental procedures involving cell products or biomaterials.
Requirements
- PhD in Molecular Biology, Cell Biology, Biotechnology, Genetics or a related field with demonstrated research experience.
- Extensive laboratory experience in tissue culture, DNA isolation, PCR, Western blotting, ELISA, and flow cytometry.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as R and Python for data analysis and bioinformatics workflows.
- Strong understanding of biochemistry principles and molecular biology techniques including transfection and assay development.
- Experience working with mammalian cells, performing cell-based assays, and managing laboratory experiments independently.
- Knowledge of CGMP standards relevant to biotech or pharmaceutical research environments is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex experiments effectively.

Pay: $52,367.09 - $63,065.74 per year
