What You’ll Be Doing
As a PCR Technologist in our high-tech molecular lab, you’ll play a vital role in detecting respiratory pathogens and urinary tract infections using cutting-edge platforms like Thermo Fisher QuantStudio and BD Max.
Your daily mission will include:
- Accessioning and handling specimens with precision and care.
- Extracting DNA/RNA like a pro (and making it look easy).
- Running and interpreting PCR tests with pinpoint accuracy.
- Following SOPs like they’re second nature (because they are).
- Supporting quality control and inventory tracking to keep everything running smoothly.
- Collaborating with the Lab Supervisor and team to ensure the lab is always one step ahead.
- Keeping records tidy, temperature logs up to date, and compliance locked in.
What You’ll Need to Bring
- Bachelor’s Degree in Biology or related field. (Transcripts are REQUIRED.)
- Required at least 1 year of clinical biological lab experience (molecular PCR is a big plus).
- Fluency in nucleic acid technology, pipetting, and sample preparation.
- Comfort working with PCR platforms and extraction techniques.
- A detail-oriented mindset with a passion for accuracy, compliance, and innovation.
- Excellent communication skills—and a knack for collaboration.
- Computer literacy and the ability to juggle multiple tools and tasks without breaking a sweat.
