- Position: Clinical Lab Scientist (CLS)
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Start Date: January 26, 2026
- Schedule: Day Shift | 5x8s 6:30 AM – 3:30 PM
- Weekends: Rotating
- Openings: 1
- Local Candidates: Accepted at same ratePay & Benefits
- Pay Rate Travel: $1800 weekly
- Overtime: 1.5x after 48 hours/week
- Double Time: 2x after 12 hours/day
- Holiday Pay: 1.5x
- Orientation: All hours paid
Requirements (Must Have)
- Active California Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS) license
- MT (ASCP) certification OR CA CLS license
- Minimum 3 years of experience, including 2 recent years in:
- Bacteriology
- Mycobacteriology
- Mycology
- Parasitology
- RTO must be disclosed at submission (late RTO not accepted)
- Must pass background check (no DUI hits accepted)
- COVID-19 vaccination required (no exemptions)
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous travel experience
- Experience in community or acute-care hospital settings
Work Environment
- Charting system: Paragon (training provided)
- Floating may be required per facility policy and Joint Commission standards
- Supportive lab environment within a busy acute-care hospital
