Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Clinical Lab Technologist at our laboratory in Raleigh, NC. The Clinical Lab Technologist will perform various tasks including blood chemistry and hematology tests, implementing quality control procedures, and ensuring proper usage and maintenance of laboratory equipment. Responsibilities also include recording and analyzing data, calibrating equipment, and following laboratory protocols and safety guidelines.
Qualifications
- Medical Technology skills and proficiency in blood chemistry and hematology
- Experience with Quality Control procedures and practices
- Laboratory Skills including handling samples, conducting tests, and maintaining accurate records
- Knowledge of Laboratory Medicine principles and practices
- Proficiency in handling, calibrating, and maintaining Laboratory Equipment
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities
- Certification as a Medical Technologist or equivalent, and a Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology or related field.

Experience
- A degree in a relevant field such as BS MT, MLT in clinical biology, biochemistry, or a related discipline is preferred.
- Proven experience working in a research laboratory or clinical setting is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with laboratory techniques including Abott - Alinity CI, (abbott) Ruby Cell dyn, Sysmex CA660, Mini iSED, and other relevant methodologies.
- Experience with hospital or clinical blood based laboratory environments is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are essential for success in this role.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also demonstrating independent problem-solving skills.
