The Associate Product Manager is a technical expert who assists in managing a portfolio of products through the product life cycle. This includes supporting the product launch process, working with senior marketing team members to develop launch plans and promotional activities to drive sales, and assisting in the development and delivery of technical trainings to our worldwide sales team. The Associate Product Manager will develop the necessary skills to appropriately position products, set pricing strategies, and effectively promote the sales of products in their area of responsibility. The Associate Product Manager must have a passion for learning, a strong technical understanding of the area of responsibility, be a good communicator, and have above average writing skills.
The Associate Product Manager role is office-based.
Approximately 5% travel may be required.

The Associate Product Manager (Spatial Genomics) is a technical expert who assists in managing a portfolio of spatial genomics products through the product life cycle. Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the day-to-day management of the spatial genomics product portfolio.
- Support the implementation of tactical marketing plans.
- Participate in the creation of new content for the website.
- Help develop product positioning, messaging, and marketing collateral to conduct outbound marketing activities that promote our product portfolio.
- Learn how to analyze key performance metrics from marketing campaigns.
- Work with senior marketing members to launch new products and retire old products.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends and opportunities.
- Collaborate with senior marketing members to define product requirements, prioritize features, and support product roadmaps.
- Partner with R&D, operations, sales, and marketing teams to ensure successful product launches and ongoing support.
- Gather customer feedback and translate insights into actionable product improvements.
- Support internal training and presentations to enable sales and marketing teams.
- This position does not have supervisory responsibilities.
How will you get here?
- Requires a Ph.D. in biological sciences or related discipline; M.S. will be considered.
- Requires minimum of 3 years postgraduate laboratory experience.
- Ability to present information with clear written and verbal communication skills is required.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office.
- Must be detail-oriented and have strong organizational and time management skills.
- The ability to work as part of a team is required.
You are amazing if you have:
- Hands-on experience with next-generation sequencing and spatial genomics techniques.
- Prior experience in marketing, field application science, technical support or related roles within the life sciences industry.

The US base salary range for this full-time position, expected to be located in San Jose, CA, is $125,000 - $135,000 USD. We may consider other candidates for this position with more experience and would expect the salary range to change accordingly. This range may be modified at any time at our sole discretion.
