Position Description
As a Laboratory Analyst, your primary responsibilities will include:
- The task involves the processing of blood samples and the separation of different layers of blood cells.
- Recording cell counts and preparing isolated cells for cryopreservation.
- Adhering to sample processing Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
- Effectively communicating with clients through various channels such as email, phone, or in-person interactions.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with a focus on Word and Excel.
- Some travel required.
Physical Requirements
Applicants should be prepared for:
- Extended periods of sitting or standing.
- Lifting and carrying weights of up to 50lbs.
Work Environment
You will work under standard laboratory conditions and handle biological samples from human subjects daily. The cryogenic freezing process may expose you to -80C freezers and up to -180C Liquid Nitrogen tanks. Ensuring safety is our utmost concern, and we will furnish all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for your convenience.

Experience
- Prior experience with laboratory techniques: 1 year (Required)
- Having prior experience in handling Peripheral Blood Mononuclear Cells (PBMCs) will greatly benefit and be viewed as a significant advantage for prospective applicants.
