A rapidly growing biotechnology company is seeking a scientist to support cell line development for drug development programs. This position offers a challenging and rewarding work environment.
Responsibilities:
- Developing and maintaining mammalian cell lines (e.g., CHO) for recombinant protein expression.
- Performing cell culture, transfection, clone selection, and screening in support of development projects.
- Working with project teams and study directors on projects of varying complexity, including routine and non-routine work.
- Developing and troubleshooting cell-based and molecular assays to support cell line characterization.
Qualifications:
- BS or MS in Biology, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, or related discipline.
- 1–3 years of experience in a GLP and/or GMP environment preferred.
- Academic or industry research experience.
- Experience with mammalian cell culture, ELISA, PCR, and Western blotting.
