About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated biologist with strong experience in bioinformatics and data processing to join our [R&D / Computational Biology] team. The ideal candidate will bridge wet-lab biology with computational analysis, transforming complex biological datasets into actionable insights that drive research and innovation.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and execute experiments in molecular and cellular biology, including genomics, transcriptomics, or proteomics studies.
- Process, analyze, and interpret large-scale biological datasets using bioinformatics tools, programming languages (e.g., Python, R), and statistical methods.
- Develop and optimize pipelines for data processing, integration, and visualization.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to translate computational findings into biological hypotheses and experimental validation.
- Maintain accurate and organized records of experiments, analyses, and results.
- Stay up to date with emerging bioinformatics tools, databases, and methods to enhance research capabilities.
Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Biology, Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, or related field.
- Proven experience in bioinformatics analysis and data processing (NGS, transcriptomics, proteomics, or similar).
- Proficiency in programming languages for biological data analysis is preferred.
- Strong understanding of molecular and cellular biology, genomics, and statistical analysis.
- Experience with databases, data integration, and visualization tools (e.g., Cytoscape, Tableau, ggplot2).
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills.
Preferred:
- Experience in machine learning or AI applications in biology.
- Familiarity with cloud computing platforms and high-performance computing.
- Prior experience in drug discovery, stem cell research, or translational biology.
