Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly skilled Lab Technician to join our dynamic research and development team. The ideal candidate will possess strong laboratory experience and a solid understanding of scientific research protocols, with the ability to perform complex analyses in compliance with industry standards. Responsibilities
- Conduct laboratory experiments and analyses using advanced techniques such as microbiology, histology, molecular biology, and other specialized procedures.
- Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of experimental procedures, observations, and results within Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS).
- Ensure compliance with Good Laboratory Practices (GLP), CGMP, and FDA regulations during all laboratory activities.
- Perform quality control checks on samples, reagents, and equipment to ensure reliability and accuracy of results.
- Prepare samples for analysis, including tissue processing, staining, or molecular preparation as required.
- Assist in method development and validation for various laboratory techniques.
- Collect and analyze data meticulously to support research & development projects or clinical studies.
- Follow established laboratory procedures while also contributing to the optimization of workflows.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe laboratory environment in accordance with safety protocols.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including veterinary personnel or clinical staff as needed for project support.
Qualifications
- Proven experience working in an industrial or research laboratory environment; experience in clinical or veterinary laboratories is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of GLP, CGMP, FDA regulations, and microbiology techniques.
- Familiarity with laboratory information management systems (LIMS) and standard laboratory procedures.
- Excellent analysis skills with attention to detail in data collection and interpretation.
- Ability to follow complex laboratory protocols accurately while maintaining flexibility for new methods or project needs.
- Experience with research & development projects or scientific research environments preferred.
- Effective communication skills to document findings clearly and collaborate with team members effectively.
