- Conduct a wide range of laboratory in All departments tests including ELISA (Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay), PCR (Polymerase Chain Reaction), flow cytometry, and immunoassays to analyze biological samples.
- Perform specimen collection and processing procedures such as venipuncture, blood sampling, RNA extraction, DNA isolation, and blood banking techniques with precision and aseptic technique.
- Manage laboratory data using Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS), ensuring accuracy, confidentiality, and proper documentation for clinical trials and research projects.
- Execute laboratory techniques related to physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology to support diagnostic accuracy and research objectives.
- Maintain rigorous quality control standards by adhering to laboratory procedures, performing calibration checks, and participating in proficiency testing.
- Oversee laboratory management tasks including inventory control, equipment maintenance, safety compliance, and staff training to optimize workflow efficiency.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to interpret test results, analyze data trends, and prepare detailed reports for clinicians or research stakeholders.
- Master’s or BS degree in Medical Laboratory Science or a related field; certification as a Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) or equivalent is preferred.

- Strong knowledge of laboratory techniques, including blood banking, specimen collection/processing, and physiology fundamentals.
- Proficiency in data management systems and data analysis skills to interpret complex results accurately.
- Experience working within hospital settings or clinical laboratories is highly desirable.
- Excellent understanding of medical terminology, anatomy knowledge, and laboratory procedures necessary for accurate testing and reporting.
- Ability to perform venipuncture and phlebotomy with excellent venous access skills; experience with vital signs monitoring is a plus.
