Job Description
Boston Vision is seeking an experienced Optometrist to join our growing team. As an Optometrist, you will use your knowledge and established skill set to provide excellent eye care to each patient. Ideal candidates would enjoy working in a multi-faceted capacity from performing routine eye exams, to evaluating potential Lasik and Cataract candidates, and skillfully fitting both soft and specialty contact lenses. Additionally responsibilities would include, but are not limited to, documenting all diagnosis and/or treatment plans, performing minor surgical procedures as needed, and providing postoperative care to patients who have had eye surgery.
Required Qualifications
- Must hold a Doctor of Optometry (O.D.) degree.
- Must hold a valid, Massachusetts state issued license of Optometry.

Boston Vision currently has 7 locations in the Metro-Boston area. We ask our team members to be open to traveling to other locations as the business demands. Strong candidates have well-developed communication and interpersonal skills, practice the importance of facilitating the highest quality of patient care, and have proven extensive knowledge of promoting eye-health, diagnosing eye-related conditions. Must be a positive and professional team player.
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time, exempt position. Days and hours of work vary according to the business demands.
This position may be asked to practice at several Boston Vision locations.
Work Environment
This role operates in a professional medical office environment routinely using standard office and clinical equipment such as computers, telephones and testing equipment.

Pay: $100,000.00 - $160,000.00 per year
