Position Overview
As engineers, we play a significant role in shaping our communities through the services we provide.
We are seeking a Transportation/Roadway Project Engineer with four (4) plus years of experience to become an integral part of our Design team.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Planning, administering, and designing small-to-medium size transportation related projects, and working as part of a multi-disciplinary design team on large sized projects.
- Performing roadway design and traffic analysis tasks as a member of the design team for local, arterial, and interstate roadways.
- Establishing and maintaining client relationships, ensuring both client satisfaction and objectives are met.
- Assisting in marketing, writing proposals, winning work, and maintaining and developing key client relationships.
- Participating in client-rich professional organizations and technical societies.
- Training and mentoring young professionals and directing CADD staff in plan production.
- Performing Traffic Studies and preparing Traffic Reports.
- Performing Barrier Warrant Analysis.
Qualifications
- BSCE required
- Professional Engineer (PE) License required
- 4 years engineering experience with a background in transportation; including a combination of roadway and traffic analysis. Traffic signal and/or roundabout design experience a plus.
- Solid understanding of transportation design and construction standards. Additional experience related to traffic engineering a plus.
- Proven history of meeting project deadlines and budgets.
- Demonstrated skills developing relationships with municipal, county, and state agencies in support of transportation projects.
- Experience with MicroStation, Open Roads Designer, Autodesk Civil3D.
- Microsoft Office software applications experience required.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with clients, staff, and management.
- Adaptability and ability to respond quickly and accurately under pressure.

Pay: From $95,000.00 per year
