Summary
We are seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our dynamic team at JOSEPH S. GHAZAL, M.D. This role is essential for performing nuclear medicine procedures and ensuring accurate diagnostic evaluations that contribute to patient care.
Responsibilities
- Perform nuclear medicine scans and procedures according to established protocols.
- Administer radiopharmaceuticals to patients safely and effectively.
- Ensure the quality of images obtained during diagnostic evaluations.
- Maintain accurate records of procedures and patient information.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to interpret scan results.
- Educate patients about the procedures and provide support throughout the process.
- Adhere to safety protocols and regulations regarding radiation exposure.
Requirements
- Certification as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT) or equivalent required.
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.
- Experience with PET scans and other medical imaging techniques preferred.
- Excellent communication skills for patient interaction and teamwork.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Spanish speaking preferred.

Pay: $65.00 - $70.00 per hour
