Quality Control Lab Technician
12:00 PM – 12:00 AM | 2-2-3 Rotational Schedule
We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Quality Control Lab Technician to join a growing manufacturing team. This role is responsible for testing raw materials, in-process batches, and finished products to ensure quality standards and specifications are met for both internal and external customers.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine testing and evaluation of production and R&D samples
- Inspect raw materials, work-in-process, and finished goods for quality compliance
- Maintain accurate lab records, verifications, and calibrations
- Operate lab equipment including GC/GC-MS, Refractive Index, Specific Gravity, and other testing equipment
- Prepare samples and assist with data analysis
- Support environmental testing and hazardous waste procedures
- Communicate effectively with Production, Planning, Customer Service, and other departments
- Follow established safety, quality, and environmental protocols
- Assist with additional duties and projects as assigned
Requirements
- Associate degree or equivalent laboratory/industry experience
- Strong attention to detail and communication skills
- Ability to multitask and work independently
- Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a science-related field
- Previous laboratory, quality, or manufacturing experience
- GC/GC-MS experience
