Job Title: Laboratory Technician (Chemistry)

General Description:
The primary responsibilities of a lab technician are to run routine analytical tests on raw materials and finished goods, analyze and report data in a timely manner, and follow GLP/GDP standards. Lab technicians also perform instrument maintenance and calibration regularly. As the company is rapidly growing, lab techs will need to be competent in method research and in writing new procedures. It is the job of everyone at IMN labs to maintain a clean work environment and undertake tasks the lab manager finds appropriate for the role.
what you'll be doing
- Regularly running and maintaining HPLC, UV-Vis, ICP-MS
- Analyzing data and reporting it on certificates of analysis
- Method development and technical writing
- Maintaining chemical inventory
Required Skills:
- Ability to closely follow written procedures
- Attention to detail for documenting process of each test session
- High competency in math is required
- Good written and verbal communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills
- Good computer skills, including usage of Google Workspace
- Must be able to work in a team environment
- Ability to provide and receive feedback in a professional, direct, and tactful manner
- experience with HPLC, UV-Vis, ICP-MS or GC-MS is a plus
- experience in cGMP/GLP/GDP is a plus
- experience in technical writing is a plus
- experience in microbiology is a plus
Experience/Education:
- Bachelor's degree in chemistry or related science (required)
- 1-2 year experience working in a laboratory environment preferred

Pay: $47,000.00 - $55,000.00 per hour
