Duties and Responsibilities:

Perform accurate sample weighing, homogenization to prepare samples for quantitative and qualitative chemical and microbiological analysis
Perform analyses such as pH, water activity and moisture content in plant material, extracts and edible samples
Photograph samples and inspect for contaminants
Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by Management
Maintain standard laboratory housekeeping, such as cleanliness of countertops, hoods, floors, common areas, glassware and other reusable laboratory tool
Collect samples following State of NV regulations and guidelines
Use company vehicle to physically transport samples to the laboratory
Responsible for establishing and maintaining chain of custody for all samples collected for laboratory analyses
Strong communication skills
Dependable and reliable worker
Ability to follow instructions and work independently when directed
Detail and quality oriented.
