Job Scope
Technical Account Manager provides high-level technical support to customers, serving as the primary technical force for supporting sales activities. Technical Account Manager takes full responsibility for the daily operation of both pre-sales and post-sales customer service functions to strengthen customer relationships and ensure customer satisfaction. The focus of work is in project design, project management, and proactive account management.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Provide primary business, technical, and service/product advice to customers, including but not limited to providing effective solutions to customers’ project inquiries, generating price quotes, placing orders, etc.
- Provide timely services to customers’ inquiry on logistics, production progress, etc.
- Analyze customers’ needs, resolve customers' troubleshooting and complaints and advise additional service/product solutions when necessary
- Identify potential concerns from customers and make recommendations based on the identified current and future needs
- Coordinate in-depth technical discussion with production teams when necessary
- Conduct data analysis on the business performance of the responsible territory
- Other tasks assigned by the manager
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- The ideal candidate holds an MS/Ph.D. degree in a relevant life science discipline, such as molecular biology, genomics, and cell biology
- Knowledge and/or hands-on NGS, but not limited to, workflow is preferred
- Exceptional verbal and written communication and presentation skills
- Experience in molecular cloning and its application is a plus
- Customer-centered with proactive attitude
- Excellent analytical skills &problem-solving skills
- Strong organization skills with great attention to detail
- Enjoy working in a fast-paced and team-oriented environment
WORKING RELATIONSHIPS
- Report to: Head of Project Management
- Works with: you will be working with the Sales team and business stakeholders such as Production Team and Logistics Team
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $70,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
