We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Traveling Molecular Application Scientist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for traveling to client locations and performing validations of molecular applications. All traveling expenses are reimbursable.
Responsibilities:
-Travel to client sites to perform validations on molecular applications
-Perform hands-on troubleshooting and problem-solving on molecular applications
-Provide customers with technical assistance and support for molecular application issues
-Write comprehensive reports on the validation process and results
-Train customers on the correct and safe use of molecular applications
-Collaborate with other team members to ensure customer satisfaction
Requirements:
-Bachelor's degree in Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, or related field
-At least 3 years of experience in a related field
-Excellent verbal and written communication skills
-Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
-Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
-Ability to travel up to 50% of the time
-Ability to lift and move up to 25 lbs
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with LDTs
- Experience validating RT-qPCR assays
- Knowledge of CLIA guidelines
- Located in the Austin, Texas metropolitan area
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $5,000.00 - $7,000.00 per month
