The Role
We are looking for a high-energy, detail-oriented Patient Coordinator to serve as the face of our clinic. This is a fast-paced role that requires the ability to multitask in a busy environment while maintaining the professional, "High-level" service our patients expect. You will collaboratively work with our current front office coordinator and be the last point of contact for our patients, ensuring their journey through our clinic is seamless and efficient.
Key Responsibilities but not limited to the following:
- Patient Excellence: Warmly greet and check in patients, ensuring all demographic and insurance information is accurately updated in the system.
- Checkout & Collections: Facilitate the checkout process, including collecting co-pays, outstanding balances, and patient payments for services.
- High-Volume Scheduling: Manage complex calendars for 6 providers.
- Communication Hub: Answer and route multi-line phone calls with professionalism, taking detailed messages and addressing patient inquiries promptly.
- Insurance Coordination:Update patient insurance information, balancing 2 systems.
Qualifications & Requirements
- EPIC Expertise: Previous experience with EPIC (Electronic Health Record) is highly preferred (specifically familiarity with Cedars-Sinai’s MyChart/MyCSLink ecosystem).
- Insurance Knowledge: Proven experience verifying insurance benefits and understanding PPO, and Medicare workflows.
- Tech-Savvy: Proficiency with modern office technology, EMR systems, and digital communication tools.
- Exceptional Communication: Excellent written and verbal skills are a must. You should be able to communicate complex information clearly and empathetically to patients facing chronic conditions.
- High-Volume Experience: Comfort working in a fast-paced, 6-provider clinical setting where multitasking and prioritization are essential.
- Professionalism: A polished, professional demeanor suitable for a leading medical practice in Beverly Hills.
