**Position Overview:**
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Lab Manager, Research and Operations Associate with a focus on in vivo studies to join our dynamic team. This hybrid role combines hands-on in vivo research responsibilities with operational support to ensure the smooth functioning of our laboratory and vivarium facilities. The ideal candidate will possess a Master's degree in a scientific discipline and demonstrate proficiency in both experimental techniques and laboratory operations.
**Key Responsibilities:**
Research & Histology Support
- Mouse Embryo dissections, and tissue isolations from early developmental stages.
- Perform in vivo procedures, including dosing (IV, IP, PO), tissue collection, necropsy, and sample processing in rodent models.
- Validate in vitro assays to evaluate the biological activity of tissue-engineered constructs.
- Analyze and interpret histological data, and present findings to cross-functional teams.
- Monitor animal health and maintain accurate records of experiments and results in compliance with institutional and regulatory guidelines.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support the advancement of therapeutic programs.
Biomanufacturing Support
- 3D Printing: Operate biomedical-grade resin 3D printers.
- Post-Processing: Perform ethanol washing and UV curing of printed parts.
- Assembly: Assist with bonding, tubing, and fittings for product assembly.
- Testing/Quality Control: Perform testing and ensure the quality of products.
- Sterilization: Sterilize equipment and products to ensure compliance with safety standards.
Lab & Vivarium Operations
- Oversee daily operations of the laboratory, ensuring safety, cleanliness, and compliance with regulatory standards
- Manage animal deliveries, perform cage cleanings, and ensure proper documentation and care protocols
- Coordinate equipment maintenance, calibrations, and vendor support
- Handle, breed and maintain colonies and collect tissues.
Purchasing & Inventory
- Manage ordering of lab supplies, reagents, and office materials
- Maintain up-to-date inventory systems and optimize stock levels
- Coordinate with sales representatives and companies on delivery status, backordered supplies, and track deliveries
- Perform in vivo procedures, including dosing (IV, IP, PO), tissue collection, necropsy, and sample processing in rodent models.

**Qualifications:**
- Master's degree in Biology, Pharmacology, or a related scientific field.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in in vivo research and laboratory operations.
- Experience with animal handling, dosing, pathology and surgical procedures.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements and ethical standards for animal research.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $70,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
