We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Clinical Research Lab Technician to join our dynamic research team. Duties
- Prepare and process biological samples following established laboratory procedures, including microbiology, histology, molecular biology, and other techniques.
- Conduct experiments adhering to Good Laboratory Practice (GLP), Good Manufacturing Practice (CGMP), and FDA regulations to ensure data integrity and compliance.
- Perform quality control assessments on laboratory materials, equipment, and data to maintain high standards of accuracy and reliability.
- Maintain detailed records of experiments, data collection, and analysis using Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS) or other digital tools.
- Assist in research & development projects by supporting experimental design, data analysis, and troubleshooting laboratory techniques.
- Ensure proper handling of animal tissues or specimens with knowledge of animal physiology and veterinary terminology when applicable.
- Follow strict safety protocols related to microbiology, clinical laboratory procedures, and industrial laboratory environments.
- Support the maintenance and calibration of laboratory instruments to ensure optimal performance.
- Collaborate with team members across various disciplines such as histology, microbiology, molecular biology, and clinical research to meet project goals efficiently.
Experience
- Prior experience working in a research or industrial laboratory setting is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with GLP standards, FDA regulations, CGMP practices, and quality control procedures is essential.
- Demonstrated knowledge of microbiology techniques, histology processing, molecular biology methods, and laboratory techniques required for clinical research.
- Experience with Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS) or similar data management tools is advantageous.
- Strong analysis skills with the ability to interpret experimental data accurately.
- Proven ability to follow detailed laboratory procedures meticulously while maintaining high levels of accuracy.
- Background in veterinary terminology or animal physiology is a plus for projects involving animal models or samples.
- Excellent organizational skills with the capacity to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- A solid foundation in scientific research principles combined with math skills necessary for precise measurements and calculations.
